That car is just horrible for showing misfires... I had a 97 intrepid that was also showing number 6 was misfiring but the miss was really on cylinder 1. -

But just missing the cylinder altogether. At least I can confirm with a lab scope. And there is no mistaking a ignition miss. I will check if my Pegisys. Shows misfire counters on this car and if that cylinder is there. -

Yes this is a known bug its been fix at the moment and will be released on the next
update scheduled to be released last month but its not yet completed hopefully soon -

This big chrysler update I hope it comes soon I couldn't even get codes out of 02
dodge R2500 5.9L cummins kept saying something about missing registry files or
something to that affect and a exclamation mark next to pcm
